The Graduate Program for the Department of Horticulture & Crop Science (H&CS) at The Ohio State University would like to invite you to The Annual H&CS Graduate Research Retreat and Open House. This event will be held October 2 and 3 (Friday afternoon and evening, and Saturday) and will provide the opportunity to learn more about the H&CS graduate research. 

Who should attend? students who are interested in pursuing a graduate education and are currently undergraduate juniors or seniors, master students, or recent graduates. See Flyer

Information will be presented on the following areas of specialization:

Breeding and Genetics
Crop Management and Production
Environmental Horticulture
Physiology and Molecular Biology
Seed Biology
Turf Science and Management
Weed Science

On Friday you will have the opportunity to tour the campus and interact with our graduate students and faculty. Dinner will be served in the Fisher Auditorium. You will be able to ask any questions you may have about current research or what's it like to be a graduate student. On Saturday you will experience first hand poster and oral presentation competitions by our graduate students. Complimentary lunch will be served for all participants.
